The Half Moon Party in Ban Tai Beach is the little brother to the famous Full Moon Party on Phangan Island. Also an outdoor rave, it is held twice a month at the intervals between full moon and new moon.
While the Full Moon Party attracts a wide range of attendees - from the very young to the very old and the very hip to the very square - the Half Moon attracts a more specific set of serious party-goers.
