Jacques Weisgarber I've seen those people too, I got a place on Haad Rin Beach because I was there for over a week and just wanted to be near the action all the time.
Most people arrive a day or two before the part and walk round all the resorts looking for a place to stay but everywhere is always full by then. Or the places that are still empty increase their prices really high (like x3) for the few night around the FMP.
I think that is why so many people get so lost, because they were expecting to stay in Haad Rin but end up staying somewhere else on the island at the last minute.
Michael Jyllian The hardest part of getting back from the Full Moon Party is remembering where you're staying. Every place I've ever stayed at has had a card with their name and number on it. But if they don't just ask the staff to write it on a piece of paper for you.
Don't be one of those people sat in the Taxi area of Haad Rin trying to remember where all your belongings are! LOL.
