Ten cottages on the beach and a few hotel rooms is all there is to this setup. But this would have to be the ultimate as far as tranquility, luxury, and scenic vistas are concerned. Enjoy the music and drinks at the beachfront bar while the fiery red sun slowly dips into the horizon. Watch the changing moods of the bay as time goes by.
Enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving as you explore the rich coral reefs. You'll never experience a moment's boredom even though all you do is loll around on the beach. You realize it's because you're experiencing life with all your senses and not just sight and sound. A peace descends that you'd never known existed. Deluxe Sea View
This category while not as close to the beach as the beachfront cottages, still does have great unobstructed views of the bay. They come with pretty much similar amenities as air conditioning, television, mini bar, and hot water
Superior Room
This comes with air conditioning, hot water, and a mini bar. Made of wood it has the added rustic appeal which adds significantly to a tropical holiday.
Standard Room
Standard rooms may come with ceiling fans or air conditioning. It has a mini bar and hot water in the bathroom.

Hansa resort is just minutes from the town of Thongsala which could be called the gateway to the coast. The pier here is where you'd dock if you came over to Koh Phangan by ferry.
From Bangkok you can reach the island of Koh Samui by flight or an overnight train. Your flight will land you at Koh Samui airport from where you can either take a taxi to your hotel or take the more exciting option of a ferry, which will bring you over to Thongsala, in the island of Koh Phangan.
This is also the town with a vigorous nightlife which may have you dancing from nightfall to noon. To make a long story short, at the Hansa you're at the best possible spot on the map of fun and relaxation.
Before long you will turn into a beach bum, without the offensive odor, hopefully, for you'll be here all day long. You cannot separate the resort from the beach since it's literally on the beach and does not entail any long walks to get here.

For dining or drinking you'd have to head to the beach, for that's where the restaurant and bar are located. A great way to start the day would be to walk over to the beach for your breakfast' and they do serve a breakfast that will set the tone for what's to follow.
Since it's such a small place, the service seems very personal and before long they know and remember your name. More important, they learn your likes and dislikes and offer great suggestions and what not to touch with a barge pole. This homely ambiance adds to the dining experience which is without doubt, the best on the coast.
Beach Bar
A great place to chill out. There really is nothing like a cold, cold beer on a warm, hot day at the beach. Hanging from a hammock or dancing away to rock n' roll, a nice drink is the right way to do it. And at the beach bar that's the only way to do it.
