Haad Mae Had lies to the north of Koh Phangan, just half an hour drive away from Thongsala. Haad Mae Had is also just a short ride away from Haad Rin, the happening beach of the Full Moon Party to the south of Koh Phangan.
To get here from Bangkok, you are looking at an hour and a half flying time that will bring you to Koh Samui or Surat Thani. From here a short ferry journey can bring you to Thongsala pier.

The restaurant is where the resort sheds its low key image and puts up with flare. A range of western and local dishes come out of the chef's kitchen morning, noon, and evening. A seafood barbecue is a routine affair, but the amazing fact is that you never get fed up. The Thai architecture and décor goes well with the surroundings.

The resort per se does not have any sport facilities, but a short walk over a sand bar takes you to Koh Ma where you have diving, snorkelling, and scuba diving.
