Our stay at the Panviman was truly wonderful. Loved the beach restaurant and the bbq. Went snorkeling and enjoyed a Thai massage which at first felt as if I was run over by a truck. We stayed in the deluxe room and it had great views.

We just returned from our trip to Thailand. Our stay at the Panviman was truly memorable and was certainly the highlight of our vacation. Will gladly return to this resort the next time we're there.

We had a nice time in Koh Phangan, especially the Panviman resort. The restaurant atop the hill was a great experience and they served the best food in the area.
However, the beach was not well lit at night. This made walking back to the room an ordeal.

I choose the Panviman as it had a reputation as the best on the islands and it didn't disappoint.
The staff were extremely friendly. The resort is kept extremely clean and the facilities are very good.
It came as a welcome change of space after Samui.
We couldn't get in the bungalows as these were filled up, so we had on of the hotel rooms. These were a good size for two people and laid on little extras for your stay.
There is a beach on both sides although the one you can see from the pool area is a good 15-20 walk to get to, along Ko Phangan's notorious roads. You can get a cab for 50 baht however.
Talking of roads-be prepared for a bone shaking journey from the ferry to the resort. The roads (dirt tracks) really are appalling. So if you suffer from any kind of back problems, you may want to bare this in mind.
In general therefore I would certainly recommend this resort.

I was delighted to find a first class welcome from very helpful and friendly staff and an extremely pleasant hotel in beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool is fantastic and on several levels with amazing views.
If you are looking for a quiet romantic hotel with plenty to do and a little bit of luxury this is the place to go, I am already saving hard to go again.

This hotel is just AMAZING!
I can't explain how great it is! We arrived after a bumpy ride through the jungle (great fun, but if you aren't the adventurous type maybe go for the speedboat transfer from Koh Samui, although it will cost you about 10 x as much!)
On arrival, we were greeted with refreshing cold face towels scented with lemongrass, which was a lovely and very welcome start to a great week.
We stayed 6 nights in a standard bungalow, and 1 night in a deluxe. The quality of both rooms was brilliant! Huge rooms, well equipped and very comfortable!
But it was the service at the Panviman that made this THE best holiday of our lives! The staff were friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for you! They completely surpassed our expecations, and made this resort somewhere I'd recommend highly!
The infinity pool was incredible - it falls over into a waterfall and looks like it extends into the sea. And the food and drinks at all of the hotels bars and restaruants were first class.
I really can't recommend this place highly enough, and we're already planning our next visit! Have a fantastic trip!

We stayed in a standard cottage. The room was a decent size, and in a nice and private location.
The cottages have their own balconies with loungers - ours looked out over the beach, stunning view. The bathroom had everything you need.
Only complaint was that the hot water took a while to kick in and would sometimes stop mid-shower.
The service we received at the resort was first class, staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast every day was a treat in the open windowed restaurant with lovely fresh fruit and good variety of food.
The swimming pool is wonderful and the beach is another great option.
On the whole I would definately recommend this resort and will be staying here again.

We stayed at the deluxe bungalow, and it was absolutely great. Very romantic, it's definitely worth the higher price!

After a rather hair raising trip through the jungle in the hotel bus, along a potholed dirt track for half an hour I was anxiously wondering what to expect.
I was delighted to find a first class welcome from very helpful and friendly staff and an extremely pleasant hotel in beautiful surroundings.
The swimming pool is fantastic and on several levels with amazing views.
If you are looking for a quiet romantic hotel with plenty to do and a little bit of luxury this is the right place, I am already saving hard to go again.
